About Dr. Michael S. Fletcher

Dr Fletcher was born in New Zealand and has an extensive educational background with specialisation in the fields of educational management, human resources management and logistics.  In addition he is a specialist in "working with China" given his more than 15 years experience of working and living in China and Hong Kong.  He has developed specialist programs for companies wishing to set up or trade with China and has authored a book entitled "How to Avoid Being Burnt by the Dragon".

He is the Chairman of Cornell Continuing Education, a Hong Kong based training and development institute.  He is the vice chairman of Education and Training for the South China Institute of Supply Chain Management.  He has a continuing involvement with a number of education bodies including: Griffith University, Australian Institute of Export, Griffith University and Swinburne University.

Dr Fletcher has a  DBA and sits on the Board and is a partner of the Australian branch of the International Academy of Financial Management.
